Eric Lam is a serial entrepreneur with Zero-to-One startup experience over the last 20 years, having founded and exited startups and raised more than SGD20m from individual and institutional investors, including two public listed companies (listed on NYSE and SGX Main Board). As the CEO of the enterprise he founded, Eric led multinational teams across Asia Pacific, China and the USA and inspired a vision of success that led the development of some of the most awarded edutech learning products arising from this part of the world. He also co-founded and exited an edtech startup in Australia within two years from startup to exit.

His unique and poignant perspective on business design, opportunity identification, competition, entrepreneurship, and learning, has led him to be invited by MBA programs and international conferences to share his narrative of education and disruptive competition against the big players in the market.

Eric served as a Venture Partner in two venture funds that focus on medical / healthcare technology and consumer-facing early-stage investments and is the author of bestselling title, The Fast Founder: from Startup to Exit in 36 months (Marshall Cavendish International Press).

VENTURE PRINCIPAL

Adam Chen is based in Singapore and is well connected in the region with deep involvement in Edtech, internet and digital assets ventures. He has rich personal experience and solid understanding of different business growth stages operating in different cultures and business environment. He was co-founder, Global President and CFO in one of the leading Edtech platform connecting American teachers to Chinese students. In this capacity, he helped the company raise a total of USD30 million in two rounds of financing from well-known investors such as IDG capital and Baidu. He also managed global teachers and resources, drove the company to partner with global brands such as NG Learning, Highlights, TESOL etc, and made international expansion worldwide, including Korea, Japan, Thailand, Turkey and Mongolia.

Adam graduated from one of China’s top universities, Peking University. He has deep experience in managing collaborations between parties in Japan, China, USA and the rest of Asia, having had stints in a Japanese conglomerate and serving as Vice President in Morgan Stanley, where he developed and managed the entire risk assessment team for Asia.
